For those of you new to Document Direct, we have been working with RWK Goodman for a number of years now. Our dictation service is available to you 24/7 and our helpdesk is also on standby around the clock. So if you do need any urgent help with your dictations, email helpdesk@documentdirect.co.uk and we’ll do our best to help you ASAP.

What do we do?

Audio transcription (dictation) service:

All of your typing output including letters, contracts, file notes, memos, and email narratives.
Reports such as Lease Reports and Surveyors’ Reports.
Court documents (pleadings) and standard court forms (eg: Land Registry/Family Law/County Court).
Barristers’ Advice, Opinions, and draft pleadings.
Transcripts of multi-speaker recordings – meetings/conferences, interviews, focus groups, telephone conversations, and court hearings.
Zoom and Teams meetings can be transcribed with optional subtitles on recordings.

Document Production Specialists:

Complete document formatting (or re-formatting into house-style) to include advanced functions such as tables of contents, cross-referencing, page numbering, headers, and footers, etc.
Copy typing (both handwritten notes and printed text).
PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets.
Amendments to documents from PDF manuscript mark-ups.
Conversion of PDFs to Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
Manipulation of PDFs (splitting, moving/deleting pages, redacting text, etc).
Retyping of old documents, such as leases and wills, that need updating.
Production of electronic court bundles that follow all of the guidelines laid out by HMCTS.

E-bundle service at Document Direct

Creating electronic bundles for Court can be time-consuming and need to be formatted to meet HMCTS Court Guidelines.

Document Direct can produce your bundles to HMCTS Court Guidelines, including full optical character recognition (OCR), hyperlinks from Index, and full pagination.

Our bundle service is offered at a flat rate of £30.00 plus £0.59/minute for processing/formatting.

How to share your documents:

Send the documents that are to be included within your bundle to our Document Production Team: dps@documentdirect.co.uk (via a file share facility e.g. Sharepoint/Dropbox)

Tips:

It’s helpful if the documents can include the following detail:

Named according to the index.
Prefix each document with a number to highlight the order they should appear in the bundle.
Include any instructions e.g. sections required.
Don’t forget to let us know the timeframe for your work to be returned so that you meet those important deadlines.
Additional documents can be included at a later date if required.
