Document Direct at the Professional Training Conference 2026
Earlier this month, the team at Document Direct had the privilege of attending the 2026 Professional Training Conference, an event centred around the theme High Performing Teams: Driving collaboration, resilience and results. The conference brought together legal professionals and industry leaders to explore strategies for building stronger, more effective teams within law firms.
The opening keynote, delivered by Emma Wiggs MBE, set an inspiring tone for the event. Emma shared insights on The Resilience Revolution: How curiosity fuels high performance, highlighting the power of curiosity and adaptability in driving personal and team success.
Throughout the conference, we participated in a series of engaging strategic insight workshops, covering topics such as effective communication, building trust, fostering a positive culture, and aligning strategy with roles and shared purpose. These sessions provided practical takeaways that resonate strongly with Document Direct’s ethos of supporting law firms as an embedded extension of their teams.
A standout moment was the featured plenary by Karl Brown of Clarke Willmot, who explored Building an inclusive culture: Maximising team performance in law firms. His presentation reinforced the importance of inclusivity in achieving both team engagement and high performance — principles we champion in our own work. The conference concluded with an enlightening session, In conversation with William Peake, rounding off a programme packed with insight and inspiration.
Attending the Professional Training Conference was a fantastic opportunity for Document Direct to connect with peers, learn from leading experts, and further our commitment to helping law firms enhance collaboration, resilience, and results.
