Our best audio typists are self employed and work from home using their own computer and broadband connection. They have a minimum typing speed of 70wpm and have excellent word processing skills and can use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint. They have a good command of business English and enjoy building a good rapport with our clients. They go the extra mile to make sure that clients’ deadlines are met and only quality work is delivered.
Our best typists have a wealth of experience of working with solicitors and surveyors and understand legal terminology and layout of court documents and forms. They can use advanced word processing features (eg heading styles, automatic numbering, cross referencing and automatic tables of contents) and enjoy the challenge of working through some lengthy documents.
They understand how important it is to deliver top quality work to our clients and to exceed their expectations. In return they enjoy receiving great feedback from the people they help.
Some of our best secretaries also have Microsoft Certified Applications Specialist (MCAS) qualification and are experienced in designing PowerPoint slideshows and creating and inputting databases with Excel. Our best secretaries who have MCAS receive a premium rate of pay for this type of work as these skills are highly in demand and often rare to find.
All typists who work with Document Direct are self employed and responsible for their own tax and national insurance contributions and Document Direct cannot guarantee a minimum amount of work and actively encourages typists to seek work from other agencies.
